General
All session & wedding packages include unlimited printing & sharing rights of the images provided to you.
All images, art & GIFs are provided to you virtually either via a fully hosted online gallery, or video homepage.
All sessions, elopements & weddings have a simple contract that all parties sign. This is in energetically important to me, as this establishes us as a team, and covers our legal bases.
All sessions require a non-refundable date-retainer fee. This helps prioritize both my time, and your session!
Strange sounds and dance moves are supplied at various intervals during shooting. They are due to ya’ll being way to adorable, heckin sexy or just downright awesome, and come at no extra charge.
Weddings & Elopements
How it Begins: So, you’ve said Yes! to your loves proposal and now you’re looking to build the vendor team of your dreams. You have seen my work on facebook or insta, and my portfolio here as well.
After reaching out and getting confirmation that I am available for your day, we hop on a virtual consultation! In person consults are available too, but will require some understanding as I travel so far and so often!
During the consultation we get an idea of how well of a fit I am for your dream team. To date I have never been turned away from, or turned down any couples that I consult with. I wear my heart on my sleeve and more often than not, by the consult phase you’ll have a pretty good idea of what your vision is for your vendor team! Read more about my vibes here.
From this point, we know we’re meant to work together to capture your love and story! We then enter the contract phase. *Insert Jade tearing up and doing a happy dance. My contract is very simple and straightforward, and once all parties sign, you have me fully locked and loaded to be your Wedding Photographer!! If you are hiring my associate, you will meet them via virtual consult about 3 months before your day.
Having me on the Dream Team:
What a freaking honor!! It blows my mind each and every time a couple chooses me. And this is definitely to their benefit! The number 1 thing you want to understand about me, is that I take my role much further than just snapping photos at an event. I am here to help you realize your ultimate wedding dream. Does that include a first look? Or a venue change, maybe a different style of suit or dress? Whatever it may I will be an agent for your vision, and facilitate space for you to stand in your truth and be unconditionally supported.
I will help curate the timeline for your day to help make the most of my services during your wedding! Whether 5, 7, 9 hours or a specialized timeline, we will customize it to fit your vision for you day! We will consider things like ceremony time, how many peeps you have in your weddings party and whether or not you want to fit prep photos in too!
With the timeline locked in, you will then begin the automated process through my client management software. This includes invoice reminders, and a questionnaire to help me gather additional information I'm going to need for your big day! It covers names of your loved ones, along with special circumstance heads up so that I don't make act a fool amongst family.
While I’m Shooting:
Regardless of whether you are having a traditional or destination wedding, or an intimate elopement these are what you can bet on:
My being professional and courteous throughout the day
My standing in my truth and feeling comfortable being my best photographer self
Standing at your side and supporting you throughout each experience
Providing guidance and suggestion as needed to help your day run smoothly
In addition to this, I work well with family (and vendors alike!) and do my utmost to capture all the EVPs (emotionally valuable people) who attend your wedding! I will also work at capturing the moments and details that you have spent so much time and resources to bring to fruition - think of those dreamy detail shots you’ve been drooling over on Pinterest. I’ve got you.
You will find that my ‘capturing style’ varies slightly depending on each part of your wedding day. A typical wedding will find me capturing candid & journalistic shots during your getting-ready, the ceremony, and your reception. I will offer organic guidance in ‘posed’ images during the formal photos featuring your EVPs and wedding party, as well as those key shots of you Newly Weds too! I also provide insight to make sure we make the most of each event - for example I will recommend you stand a certain somewhere for your bouquet or garter toss, so as to deliver a well-lit and composed image.
I often shoot with artistic conversion in mind, and always take the time to create compositions that lend themself to being turned into art for your home - via double exposures, as well as black & white images too!
Once our time is up, I will check in with you before I leave, and confirm delivery dates, along with anything else that came up during the course of your Wedding.
After Your Big Day:
You will receive your completed wedding gallery from me 4 weeks after your wedding. I will be sending sneak previews and updating you with the progress as I go!
Once delivered you will receive a few more gentle reminders to backup & download your photos! At the point of delivery my work is usually done, but I hope my couples all consider me a friend: being invited into your journey in such an intimate and intentional capacity is not something I take lightly. You mean a great deal to me and are part of my story too, which I will always cherish!
